A five panel monochromatic comic done in off-white and off-black. Panel 1: An orc in monk clothes smiles mischievously as they hold up a pendant with a star design. Candles begin to float around them. They sneer, 'And you, Mars, what will you even do? Everyone knows your age and magic is dwindling. I'm surprised your compatriots even stuck around.' Panel 2: A close up of Mars, an raptor (anthropomorphic peregrine falcon) gunslinger in a white shirt with a shiny sash draped over his shoulder. His party of five is behind him (a half-elf druid with a mullet in robes, a half-elf barbarian dressed in armor, a half-orc rogue in a pirate captain's outfit, a Genasi sorceress with long wavy black hair dressed in revealing, flowy clothing, and a brown bear on her hind legs) looking determined. He lowers his head as he says, 'It's true. My time is almost up. Everyday my body is failing me. My magic was always lacking.' Panel 3: Mars closes his eyes. His team looks back at him with concern. Panel 4: Fades into darkness before being interrupted by a loud 'BOOM!' Panel 5: Mars stands up straight, holding a smoking musket. The rest of his team readies themselves for a fight.'

I call trickshot.

I was struggling with Mars's backstory and character for a while then I got hit with a wave of inspiration from our last session. It's not much but I whipped up this little guy.
